About the role
The Painter is responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint, primer, stains, and finishes to residential and commercial properties. This role requires attention to detail, good time management, and the ability to consistently produce clean, professional results.
What you'll do
- We are looking for an experienced and dependable Painter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, understands proper surface preparation, and can complete painting projects efficiently without sacrificing quality.
- Responsibilities include preparing walls and other surfaces, patching minor imperfections, sanding, caulking, masking, priming, and applying finish coats using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
- You will work on a variety of residential and commercial projects and will be expected to protect floors, furniture, fixtures, windows, and other areas before beginning work. Maintaining a clean and organized job site is an important part of the position.
- The right candidate should be comfortable working independently when needed while also communicating effectively with other members of the painting crew and project supervisors.
What we're looking for
Required
- 2+ years of professional painting experience preferred
- Experience with interior and exterior painting
- Strong understanding of surface preparation
- Experience using brushes, rollers, and paint sprayers
- Ability to perform basic drywall patching, sanding, and caulking
